Mara Grimes, Development Manager

Mara Grimes, Development Manager, is responsible for Art in Action's fundraising from foundations, corporations, and individual donors. She writes grants, manages the annual campaigns, and coordinates the implementation of the Atelier d'Artistes event. She works with the Executive Director on major gifts. She is the editor of Art in Action's newsletter and social media.

Mara is a graduate of Notre Dame de Namur where she earned a multiple subject teaching credential. She has been an Art in Action trainer, curriculum writer, and school coordinator, and has served on Site Council, PTA Boards, and the Performing Arts for Youth Program. She currently serves on the board of the Peninsula Arts Council. Mara loves to dabble in art, travel, garden, read, and cook.
