Getting Started

Starting the Art in Action program at your school is easy, and Art in Action will support you every step of the way. We work directly with an Art in Action Coordinator from your school to design and organize your program and get it started. We provide training, materials, and networking opportunities with other educators and schools using the Art in Action Program. We can help you create a rich and rewarding art program at your school.

Five easy steps

• Explore the Art in Action website to learn about how the program works and why art is important. Download Information Packet and Flier.
• Talk to your principal and your PTA/PTO leader about the importance of a quality art education, and invite them to visit the Art in Action website. Make a presentation at your school, and we will give you the tools.
• Get advice and support from Art in Action about various ways to get started, and how to fund the program.
• Order the Art in Action Program and supplies through our store.
• Start the Program anytime during the school year. Art in Action will train your teachers and parent docents to teach the Art in Action program and give you continuous support.
