Sales Rep
We are looking for a sales professional with proven success to sell our art programs to schools in California. You’ll help us expand the programs from our strong user base in the San Francisco Bay Area. Primary contacts: school principals and PTA/PTO board members.
The ideal candidate:
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A trailblazer with high energy and determination to make a difference for children
- Shows initiative and closes sales
- Team player who works well in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
Base salary plus bonus. Benefits available.

Trainers
Trainers are experienced docents that teach the Art in Action curriculum to other docents. They conduct training sessions on how to effectively teach lessons at each program level, giving instruction on how to approach sketching lessons, facilitate discussion, and demonstrate techniques for using different media. Trainers receive private training from the Art in Action Program Director and typically specialize in one or two program levels. Trainers are most active in September and October, with other training opportunities throughout the year. They usually spend three to four hours at a training session. ARTcamp Teachers
ARTcamp teachers teach the Art in Action summer camp curriculum at a school or recreation center. They work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during five weeks of camp, attend a training session prior to the start of camp, and come to weekly meetings during camp. ARTcamp teachers must be adults with teaching experience and/or art training.
ARTcamp Interns
Do you enjoy working with kids? Do you have a passion for art? Are you at least 15 years old?
Check out the Art in Action summer ARTcamp internship! Interns work directly with an art teacher assisting them with art projects and supervising outdoor camp activities. Interns work with small groups of K-3 students in a classroom setting or at a Recreation Center. Interns work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and are expected to commit to working a minimum of 3 weeks during the summer ARTcamp period. They will earn community service credit for their volunteer hours. ARTcamp is held in Burlingame, Campbell, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, and Sunnyvale.
