Art in Action Receives San Francisco Foundation Grant
Art in Action, the Bay Area’s leading provider of Visual Art Programs, has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the San Francisco Foundation. This grant will enable Art in Action to expand both its K-8 programs and its teacher training to reach 50 new classrooms in Bay Area schools in 2008.
The San Francisco Foundation is helping Art in Action fulfill its mission to bring quality visual art programs to children in the Bay Area. The generous support from community-minded organizations such as the San Francisco Foundation makes it possible for local students who have little access to art to receive an art education. The program enriches the students’ education and inspires their learning and creativity.
