Help: Artist Screen

This screen provides background information on the life and times of the artist. You can read the artist's biography, look at a picture of the artist, find out how the artist's name is pronounced, see a map of where they were active, and get links to websites with more information. Note that for certain artists there is no known picture, and therefore we have simply substituted the original masterpiece picture.

• Click on the artist's picture to see a larger version of it
• Click on the 'See full screen....' link to see a bigger view of the masterpiece picture
• Click on to find out how to pronounce the artist's name
• Click on the map to zoom in on it
• Click on any of the links to get more information on the artist
• Click on 'Back' to go the previous screen
• Click on 'Top' to pick a different lesson
• Click on 'Discuss' to edit the discussion board page for this lesson
• Click on 'Help' to see this screen
• Click on 'Next' to advance to the next screen
